Ballroom Dancing Classes
Ballroom dancing is elegant, structured and enjoyable for all ages. In our classes, you’ll learn classic styles such as:
- Waltz
- Tango
- Foxtrot
- Quickstep
Our experienced instructors break everything down step-by-step, making it easy to follow — even if you’ve never danced before.
Latin Dancing Classes
Latin dancing is energetic, fun and full of personality. Our Latin classes include:
- Cha Cha
- Rumba
- Jive
- Samba
These styles are great for improving rhythm, coordination and confidence while enjoying a lively, social atmosphere.
Line Dancing Classes
Besides keeping yourself fit, our modern line dancing classes offer you a chance to meet other line dancers or make new friends.
There are no cowboy hats or cowboy boots, just modern line dancing to a wide variety of music.
Our classes incorporate various styles and you will be moving to music including: Pop, Rock, Latin, Swing, Soul, Hip Hop, Irish, Salsa, Reggae, Nightclub, Big Band and Country & Western.
We offer classes suitable for all ages and all skills from absolute beginner to more accomplished dancers, wishing to sharpen their line dancing skills.
Sequence Dancing Classes
Sequence Dancing is becoming very popular. New dances are published nearly every month from competitions held across the country.
At Hartland School of Dance we can offer classes teaching the latest dances or the popular sequences dances.

With more than three decades of teaching experience Susan is a member of the United Kingdom Alliance of dance teachers and is an examiner of this association. Having served on their executive committee. Susan brings a wealth of knowledge to the dancing industry.
At Hartland School of Dance old and new friends are always welcome. We have fortnightly Social Dances, Summer Ball, Christmas and New Years Eve Dinner Dances held at our own venue and weekly Tea Dances.
